A downloadable 'game' for Windows

Lucky Fighter EX Plus Ika is a fan project game or a doujinshi fighting game based on the manga/anime series called Lucky Star, which was really popular in 2007 and still has a strong fanbase to this day.

I started working on this game back in March when I was still working on Azufighter, 25 (which that game was, oh so a doujinshi fighting game was based off a manga/anime series too), but I didn't really work on it that much after I finished work on Azufighter, 25 that I would continue to finish thought April.

I was going to make more a Mugen version of Lucky Fight X Ika Musume 3X, which was its foundation for the game, and it was just because I didn't know what name to give the project, but I came up with the title Lucky Fighter EX Plus Ika based off the game called Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha.

This game has 12 Main roster characters plus 8 secret characters, which are under the main character roster. There are 29 stages (including the 14 bonus stages). There are 3V3 and 4V4 that have been added for people to make chaos in the game.

This is made for people who are casual and like to play fighting games more casually than take it seriously, but I am fine with people trying to make the game more competitive or make it serious, because I have seen casual fighting games become competitive. You may think of smash bros, but I saw people trying Mugen (the engine I use for this game) make tournaments out of it, and they are crazy.

One thing I will say about this game is that it is not only a celebration of Lucky Star and its fandom, but also a celebration of  Shinryaku! Ika Musume (Invasion! Squid Girl) or Squid Girl and its community, because funny story that Ika Musume or Squid Girl was the first anime, not only that got me into anime that wasn't video game adaptations, but it was the anime that I actually enjoy which again that wasn't a video game adaptation if you want to read more about it, here link to it: My Funny Story about Squid Girl - itch.io

And I am very sorry that this game uses MUGEN 1.0 instead of MUGEN 1.1. Well, actually, the main reason I use MUGEN 1.0 is that I want people who don't have the latest computer to play the game, and because I use Windows XP, that's why.

So yeah, please enjoy Lucky Fighter EX Plus Ika and make whatever chaotic mess you want that you call fun. ;)
